Silverstone Bed and Breakfast is located in Chestnut Hill, one of the most historic and picturesque parts of Philadelphia. Chestnut Hill was granted by FORBS  magazine as the one of seven best to live suburban neighborhoods in the USA.
Many communities events are taking place in Chestnut Hill:  Christmas House Tour, Gardens Tours, Kitchen Tours, Art Festival in the fall and Garden Festival in the spring. Take NJ Turnpike than PA Turnpike Exit 339 (Fort Washington) then Rt.309 South exit Paper Mill Rd/Chestnut Hill College. Turn right onto Paper Mill Rd, drive to the end than turn left (90 degree) onto Stenton Ave. Cross small intersection with Bethlehem Pike (very close) , and watch for Silverstone B&B on the right side of the road. 

By Rail:

Take the Septa regional rail R7 to Chestnut Hill East Station. 

Walking from Chestnut Hill East Train Station 
Turn right onto Newton Street, and go to dead-end at Stenton Ave. 
Do not cross Stenton Ave. but turn left and walk along the wooden fence. Silverstone B&B is a second house from the corner of Stenton Ave. and Newton Street. 

By car:

Follow the signs I-95 north to I-76 west (Sckuylkill Expressway) to Exit 340A (Lincoln Drive). Drive to the end of Lincoln drive, turn right onto Allens Lane, drive to the end than turn left onto Germantown Ave  until you see flower shop on the corner of Germantown Ave and Cresheim Valley Rd.  Turn right onto Cresheim Valley and follow to dead -end at Stenton Avenue. Turn left onto Stenton Avenue. You will be driving exactly 1,1 miles to Silverstone B&B located on the left side of Stenton Avenue (pass 4 lights). If you get to the intersection of Stenton Avenue with Bethlehem Pike or Paper Mill Roadyou are too far. 

Rt.95 North to Blue Route - 476 (Plymouth Meeting) . Follow Rt.476 Exit # 19 to Germantown Pike East. Stay on Germantown Pike approx. 3.5 mile than turn left onto Nothwestern Ave (Chestnut Hill College and Bruno's restaurant on the corner). Follow to the first light and turn right onto Stenton Ave. Cross four lights on Stenton Ave. - the third light is somewhat complicated with three streets intersection and is very close to the fourth light. The Silverstone B&B is on the right side of Stenton Ave. (very close from the intersection with Bethlehem Pike).

Take I-676/Vine Expressway west to I-76 west (Sckuylkill Expressway) to Exit 340A (Lincoln Drive). The Silverstone B & B is a five-minute walk from the Chestnut Hill East train station which is the last stop of the R7 line. You can see a local train timetable at the web site for SEPTA.

If you would like to visit New York City or Washington D.C. the AMTRAK train takes only two hours from Center City. You can find details of the Amtrak timetable at their web site.

Stores and restaurants are in walking distance from the Silverstone.
